The candidates have 8 months to create and make a high level piece of work in the best conditions without neglecting their studies.
The European grand prix in shoe design first edition met a great success among the future designers. 150 drawings were proposed to the jury among which 20 finalists were selected. The international shoe Museum received 17 prototypes according to the rules and regulations of the competition. Considering the quality of the work which was presented, the last jury, after a long deliberation, awarded all the prizes during the private viewing of the Exhibition "Fourberies d'Escarpins" and the 2001 St Crepin's leather and shoe Festival.
